Excursion Unknown Crete

According to many, Unknown Crete is one of the most interesting excursions of the program. You will head in the direction of Peza, a fertile wine area, in the southeast of Crete.
The first stop is in Thrapsano, a village where pottery art is still flourishing. Pottery art has a history of 8000 years on the island. Here, you will visit one of the best artists in his workshop.

After Thrapsano, the second stop will be made in the Dikti Mountains in the village of Ano Viannos. From there, the trip continues to the south shore of Crete. A lunch stop is made at a splendid place near the water. A dive in the Libyan ocean will refresh your senses.

Driving back in the northern direction, crossing fantastic scenery, we will reach the highest and narrowest point of the island, from where you will have a magnificent view of both two oceans and surroundings. The excursion ends in the lovely area of Neapoli, east of Heraklion. Pope Alexander V was born in Neapolis (1409 - 1410).

All excursions can be booked on www.kritinet.com or at the local travel agency "Kritinet Travel" at the mainroad of Agia Pelagia.
