Agia Pelagia is a nice small town on the north coast of Crete, approximately 22 km from Heraklion. It has a unique charm, with its nice boulevard, the many cosy shops, the friendly people, the beautiful sea, the good sandy beach and the abundant flowers at the side of the roads. There are some small churches in the village and one bigger church.
