In 2 hours you will experience what it feels like to breath underwater and with the help of an experienced instructor, and a theory session to be well prepared, your safety as well as an amazing experience can be guaranteed. The "Discover Scuba Diving & Snorkelling" contains:

Introduction for discover Scuba Diving
Guided dive for 45 min with a maximum depth of 10 meters.
Maximum 1-2 guests per diving instructor
Snorkelling equipment for the whole day.
Transfer
Minimumage is 12 years (no children reduction!)

You will follow a course of instruction of about 45 minutes where we explain you the basic knowledge of diving and introduce you to the underwater world of flora and fauna of the Mediterranean Sea. You will be split up in groups of 4 divers with a minimum of three instructors (more often the ratio will be 1:1). The diving instructors are helping you to equip yourself and then you will be ready to start the dive. Slowly from the beach you will breathe through a regulator on the surface, than take a look down and before you even realize it you will be breathing underwater. You will dive into a new world, taste the sensation of weightlessness and forget everything around you. Those of you who are not going to dive immediately, have the possibility to go for snorkelling, drink something in of the tavernas or stay on the beach to observe the first divers coming out of the water with a big smile on their face!

Certified Divers
For divers with a diving license Agia Pelagia has a lot to offer! There are many different possibilities to discover the underwater world of Crete. Regardless of your divinglevel, you can join for one or two exploration dives per day, which are guided by a professional dive guide. A check dive is requires for divers with less then 20 logged dives or inactivity for more than 12 months. Below you will find all diving courses including prices.

After the first dive, you can take more dives. If you enjoy diving, you can take the 5 days course to become a certified PADI or CMAS diver. There are also other courses you can take, depending on your interest. For example a 5 day course to become an open water diver, after which you can take the advanced course for open water diving. But you can also take a course to become a rescue diver. Once you are a certified diver, you can make beach dives, boat dives, wreck dives and night dives. If it has been more than a year since you last dived or if you have less than twenty logged dives, you have to make a check dive.
